How Do I Rent a Car?
To rent a car from Rent & Drive Albania, do the following:
- Visit our car listing page
- Type in the location you want to pick up/return your vehicle
- Enter your departure date and return date and time.
- Next, choose the type of vehicle you want for your trip.
- Add any additional items to your rental, like child car seat.
- Review your reservation, add in your contact information and confirm your reservation by clicking “Confirm Booking.”
Will Rent & Drive Pick Me Up?
Yes, our free pick-up service is available at airport location (TIA). To schedule your pick up time or make additional arrangements, please call us directly. Once picked up and back at the office, a friendly rental representative will complete your paper work and have you on the road in no time.
WHAT IF MY FLIGHT IS DELAYED?
Reservations are valid for 24 hours from the scheduled time of pick-up for delayed flights and charges will not begin until the time of pick-up. Location will remain open for up to 2 hours after their posted closing time to accommodate delayed customers. When booking your reservation on-line include your airline and flight information. Providing us with your flight information allows us to serve you better.
Is a car rental deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required to rent a car from Rent & Drive Albania. The deposit amount varies by the vehicle. To find out how much a deposit would be for your trip, start a reservation.
Does Rent & Drive Offer Unlimited Mileage?
Yes! There are no mileage restrictions for driving a vehicle in Albanian Republic.
Am I allowed to take my rental vehicle into a bordering country?
No! Most vehicles rented in Albania can be driven throughout Albanian Republic. We can discuss for special cases.
What should I do if my rental car breaks down?
If your rental car breaks down due to a mechanical failure and it is not drivable, be sure to get to a safe place out of traffic. Then, call our Customer Service at +355 69 265 2450 and they will help you with the towing process.
What should I do if I get in an accident in a rental car?
If you are in an accident, your safety is most important. Please call 112 / 129 / 126 authorities for assistance and file a police report. They will file a damage report and set up tow services for the damaged vehicle if it is no longer drivable. If the car is without insurance you get to pay 100% of the damage. Then if you have an emergency case you can call the emergency service at 127, which is available 24 hours a day.
Car Rental is Pet Friendly?
Pets are allowed in rental vehicles. Customers need to keep pets crated and return their rental car in clean condition and free of pet hair to avoid cleaning/detailing fees. Service animals used by customers with disabilities are allowed in the vehicle without a carrier.
